It is a good weekend to relax and reconnect

Saturday, March 6 there will be a wine tasting, as there is every 1st Saturday, at One East Market Restaurant and Jazz Club. Taste fine wines from 3 to 5 pm and rate them and meet new friends. Stay for dinner. Beginning at 5 pm, Gary Burt will be performing in the Lounge, doing his vocalizations which, you would swear, you are hearing Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Tony Bennet. Gary will be performing from 5 to 9 pm. Book your room at the Market Street Inn, ask us to make your dinner reservations at One East Market and have a great time.

Your room will feature either a Queen or King bed and a double whirlpool tub in the bath. Book for two nights and ask about our two night special. Awaken each day to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and anticipate your full, country breakfast. Stay in your room, enjoy our parlors, go out and look the town or the area over and enjoy our Innkeeper Reception about 4 pm each day. We are here for you to have fun. Come to the World Class Market street Inn Bed and Breakfast for your New Year’s Getaway!  In the past folks have come from Chicagoland, St. Louis and some from just down the block.  Funny how you can be a hundred miles away just down the street.  Myrna and Joe Hauser invite you to spend your New Year’s Getaway at their fine inn.  Bring your friends and have a great time dining to the sounds of good music at some of our local restaurants.

Here is what is happening;  One East Market Restaurant, located just two short blocks from our front door is offering a sumptious buffet from 5 to 10 PM for $21.95 per person as well as a special New Year’s Eve Menu of steaks, fish and lobster ranging from $17.95 to $44.95.  In the lounge, from 9 to Midnight, (no cover charge) you may enjoy the acoustic sounds and vocals of Sam and Tom Lacy.  The Lounge will be open until 1:00 AM.  Reservations are recommended @ 217-824-5111.
The Roundtable Cafe, about 6 blocks away, invites you to celebrate New Year’s Eve with fine music by Don & Darren Bettis and Phil Henning performing on guitar and keyboards.  A mere $15.00 per person gets you Appetizers, Dinner and Entertainment with gratuities included.  There is a Cash Bar.  Reservations are required by calling 217-820-7996.  There will be other dining possibilities as well.
